Cecilia is a researcher in the area of user experience for low-end users in emerging economies. She is a PhD graduate of the 2011 class of the University of West London, School of Computing-her thesis focused on developing a usability method framework which if implemented would result in the improvement the user experience of low-end users in developing countries. Her latest research is in the area of the use of the ‘bottom of the pyramid’ business model to facilitate the designing of the next one billion phones-which are proposed, will be for low-end users in developing countries.
